Heidelberg Windmill – Up and running

It was an exciting weekend as I finally ran my first job on the Heidelberg Windmill, here are a few beauty shots of the fabulous beast. It is taking a while to get to grips with this fabulous engineering wonder, and will surely be a steep learning curve.

Also notice the rare ray of sunshine streaming through the window.

Birthday Card

Here is a birthday card I have just made for my brother, or anyone called Paul who is a chef.

Heidelberg Windmill

Well it’s been over a year since I obtained this magnificent beast, but it’s operation is still alluding me. Have managed to install a bit of wizardry to turn our single phase supply to 3 phase. Have managed to have the motor rewired since it burnt out, but the final obstacle is sourcing a new starter switch.

But hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel.

All fingers crossed.

Here are some pics for your enjoyment

Studio nearly there

The studio is now painted and water tight and damp-proof, the Heidelberg and Golding Pearl are back in, all we need to do is clean-up and wire-up the Heidelberg and we are away. Bring on 2012

Studio – work in progress

Still working away to get the Studio ready before Winter really bites. Cutting concrete, Burning Rubbish, Making window frames and filling in many, many holes…

Refurbishing the Studio

Currently in the process of refurbishing our Garage and turning it into a lovely clean and warm home for our letterpress, hopefully we will be finished very soon and can crack-on, and start producing some lovely work again. Just to tide you over here our some pics of our rather large new edition soon to be installed and hopefully operational.
